Privacy Policy
What information we collect
Your phone number is required to log in with a one-time code. Profile information (display name, photo, bio, city) is optional and entered by you. Listing content (title, description, photos, optional location), chat messages with other users, ratings and reviews, and your Tabadol Credit transaction history are also stored in your account.
What others can see
Your display name, profile photo, bio, city, trust rating, verified-identity badge (if any), and active listings are visible on your public profile. Your phone number is never shown to other users — not on your profile, not in chat, not during a trade.
Photos and location
Photos you upload for a listing are stored and shown exactly as they are — metadata embedded in the image file (such as GPS location recorded by the camera, if present) is not currently stripped. If you don't want your exact location extractable from a photo, remove it yourself before uploading, from your camera or gallery settings.
Chat messages
Messages in a conversation are only readable by the two people in that conversation. Tabadol's support team doesn't have direct access to message content, unless you report a message or user for review.
Tabadol Credit
Every change to your credit balance (receiving, locking, settling) is recorded in a permanent, unchangeable history, which only you can view on the "Tabadol Credit" page.
Storage on your device
So you don't have to log in every time, your login token and light/dark mode preference are stored on your own device (browser or mobile app); this data is never sent to our server or any other service.
Sharing with other services
To send your verification code, your phone number is shared only with our SMS provider. Tabadol doesn't use any third-party tracking or advertising tools. The location-picker map uses OpenStreetMap, which, while displaying the map, is only sent the coordinates of the map area you're currently viewing.
Support and admin team access
Tabadol admins have access to your account information — including phone number, listings, and trades — to handle reports, trade disputes, and support requests. This access is limited to the support team.
Deleting your account and data
You can submit an account-deletion request from the "Edit Profile" page. This request is reviewed and carried out manually by Tabadol's support team; deletion isn't immediate or automatic.
Changes to this policy
This text may be updated over time; a final, legally reviewed version will replace it.
